Rakuten Group, Inc. (Rakuten, Inc.) has announced that the seventh e-sports event, " Rakuten esports cup: Otsukimi Dorobo" will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024. 楽天公式サイトRakuten has announced that the seventh e-sports event " Rakuten esports cup Taikenketsu - Otsukimi Dorobo " will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 18:00 to 22:00. The 7th annual event will feature the globally popular " Apex Legends " and will be attended by a total of 61 participants. The "RED Rams," a professional e-sports team supported by Rakuten, will participate in the event for the first time. The MC and play-by-play commentator will be former Nichinoh Broadcasting announcer and current e-sports play-by-play commentator, Kosuke Hiraiwa, and guests will be Moie Iori andOniya, as in the previous tournament.
The "Rakuten esports cup Tale of Taro" will feature products from Rakuten Ichiba, an online shopping mall, and Rakuten STAY, which operates Rakuten 's accommodation brand. In addition to the products offered by the stores in the online shopping mall "Rakuten Ichiba", the contestants will also compete to win 1 million "Rakuten Points", free accommodation coupons provided by Rakuten STAY, the company that operates Rakuten's accommodation brand "Rakuten STAY".
