"Sanrio Fest 2026 in Minato Mirai" On-Site Report! A Plethora of Attractions, from Prize Wheels and Capsule Toys to Character-Themed Sweets

" Sanrio Fest 2026 in Minato Mirai," a large-scale event brimming with the charm of Sanrio characters, was held on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, 2026!
The event featured a variety of attractions, including stage performances.

We visited “Sanrio Fest 2026 in Minato Mirai,” held in the Minato Mirai area of Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

As soon as I stepped into the venue, I spotted Sanrio characters right away!

My Melody, Hello Kitty, and Cinnamoroll —so big I had to look up at them —welcomed me.
My excitement for the booths at “Sanrio Fest 2026 in Minato Mirai” is building.

Now, let’s take a look at the attractions, food, and shopping areas!

There were cute photo spots and even a chance to chat with “Hanamaru Obake”! “Attractions” Area

The first place I visited was the Attractions Area.
It’s lined with photo spots and booths where you can chat with the characters!

A Break with Hanamaru Obake

First up was “ A Break with Hanamaru Obake.”
It’s an attraction where, once you put on the headphones, you can actually talk to Sanrio’s popular character , “Hanamaru Obake”!
Lots of people had gathered in this soothing space with “Hanamaru Obake.”

Cheerleaders’ Tales Special Booth

Next up was the “ Cheerist Tales Special Booth.”
Visitors were enjoying taking photos at the heart-shaped photo spot.

“Cheerist Tales” is a group formed in 2026 consisting of Maron Cream, Usahana, Wish Me Mel, and Bonbon Ribbon.
The booth also featured profiles of all four characters!

Visitors also received commemorative stickers as gifts.
The characters, dressed in cheerleading outfits, look absolutely adorable.

"Furagaria Memories" World Tour

" Furagaria Memories " is the story of knights who protect Hello Kitty and her friends.
It’s a media mix project brought to you by Sanrio.

At this booth, Hello Kitty and friends guide visitors through the world of “Flagaria Memories.”
You’ll find a list of the kingdoms in “Flagaria World”—the setting of the story—as well as Sanrio characters who have become kings of various nations!

There are even sweets where you can choose the character decorations! The “Food” Area to Satisfy Your Appetite

Next up is the food area!
The menu featured not only meals like curry and fried chicken but also a lineup of sweets and drinks.
Large crowds had gathered around the food carts.

The ice cream came in three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.
Not only could you choose the flavor, but you could also choose the character.

There are six drink flavors in total!

The straws feature Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and Kuromi.
It’s hard to decide whether to choose by flavor or by character.

There’s even a prize wheel and capsule toys! The “Shop” area is packed with Sanrio goods

Finally, off to the shop area of this event!
There were huge crowds gathered around the capsule toy and prize wheel areas...!

Next to the Gara-pon game was the capsule toy area.
You could choose from two types to try your luck: “ Sanrio Fest 2026 Limited Edition Pin Badges ” and “ Reissue! U-24 Design Pin Badges.”
With excitement building, I turned the handle, wondering which character would pop out…!

Merchandise Corner

The merchandise corner featured a wide variety of Sanrio character goods!
From plush mascots to tote bags and cookies, the shelves were lined with items you just can’t resist picking up.

Right next to the merchandise corner was a photo spot where you could pose with your purchases.
You could line up your favorite mascots and take a photo that was all your own!

"Sanrio Fest 2026 in Minato Mirai" came to a close after a huge success.
