At the PlayStation booth during Japan's largest gaming festival, Tokyo Game Show 2024, held from Thursday, September 26, to Sunday, September 29, there was a world first public reveal of the PS5 Pro and playable demos of various game titles.
There was also an exhibit of the PlayStation 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition, which will be released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation!

PlayStation 5 Pro Has Its World First Public Reveal
The PlayStation booth held a world first public reveal of the PlayStation 5 Pro, which is scheduled to be released on Thursday, November 7, 2024.
Furthermore, there was a game demo, so visitors could get a feel for what it's actually like to use.
Comparing the PlayStation 5 Pro with the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition that was also on display, the PlayStation 5 Pro is slightly larger than the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, but the user interface on the back appears to be the same for both.
There were also exhibits of the following, which will be released on Thursday, November 21, 2024, in commemoration of PlayStation's 30th anniversary:
- PlayStation 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition 30th Anniversary Limited Edition
In addition, there were also exhibits of:
- DualSense wireless controller
- DualSense Edge wireless controller
- PlayStation Portal remote player
All of these products have color schemes that are reminiscent of the original PlayStation.
