Nintendo has begun distributing a demo version of the Nintendo Switch game " Rhythm Heaven Miracle Stars," scheduled for release on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
In addition, a long version of the commercial featuring the comedy duo Kamaitachi playing the game has been released.

The demo for the Nintendo Switch game "Rhythm Heaven Miracle Stars," scheduled for release on Thursday, July 2, 2026, is now available on the Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop.
In the demo, you can play a total of five rhythm games.
You can play Stage 1 from “Play Alone” and “ Rhythm Hair Removal ” from “Play Together.”
The rhythm games included in Stage 1 are as follows:
- Ring Toss
- Parasol
- Flying Disc
- Food for That Thing
- Remix 1 (A jumble of the four items listed above)
Hopscotch
Simple controls— just press the A button.
Listen for the "Papipupepo" cue, and jump when you hear " Po " to clear the hoop successfully.
Each rhythm game includes a practice mode; hold down the Y button to see the correct pattern.
Note that in Remix mode, the game starts immediately without a practice round.
Rhythm Hair Removal
A cooperative rhythm game for up to four players.
Learn the rhythm of the hair growth and press the buttons to mimic it.
The key is to use both hands during the faster sections.
Even if someone fails, other players can help by attempting the same rhythm.
Save data from the demo can be carried over to the full version, and if you’ve cleared Stage 1 in the demo, you’ll start from Stage 2 in the full version.
The full version includes over 80 new single-player rhythm games and over 30 rhythm games for co-op or competitive play with up to four players.
It also features a special mode called “Beat Spell,” which becomes available as you progress through the single-player rhythm games.

It shows them playing “Prep Work” from the “Single-Player” rhythm games, “Snack Time” from the “Multiplayer” rhythm games, and “Rhythm Hair Removal 2”—which is more difficult than the “Rhythm Hair Removal” included in the demo.
