Singing and making-of footage has been released for the in-game song "Bakamitai", performed by the character Akko, who is portrayed by singer Akiko Wada (@wadasoul2015), for "Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties," scheduled for release on Thursday, February 12, 2026. A mini-album CD containing the song is also scheduled to be released on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, ahead of the game's launch.

Akiko Wada Provides an In-Game Song! Impressions From Recording Are Shared in a Video!

The "Yakuza" series is known for featuring real-life celebrities in its games.
It had already been decided that Akiko Wada would appear as the character "Akko" in "Yakuza Kiwami 3," and she will also passionately sing the song "Bakamitai," which is featured in the game.

Akko appears in "Yakuza Kiwami 3" as a sub-story character.
After deepening her friendship with protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, she will join him at various play spots, including karaoke, and fight as an ally in the team battle content Bad Boy Dragon.

In the released video, her impressions after face capture and her thoughts during voice recording are shared.
Additionally, there is a scene of her singing the song "Bakamitai."
A scene where Akko drinks alcohol while singing the song hints at what kind of story will unfold.
