Repelling the Big Run that swarmed Eeltail Alley, players are busy with battles, Salmon Run, and conquering the Spire of Order in Splatoon 3. While it is unsettling that Big Run locations are getting closer to urban areas, we cannot just stay anxious! This is because from Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 9:00 AM to Monday, March 25, 2024, at 9:00 AM, the Potato Chip Splatfest will be held in Japan, while Drums vs. Guitar vs. Keyboard will take place in other regions!
The Sneak Peek has already begun, so be sure to vote early to start collecting Conch Shells for your team! When it comes to Splatfests, the cities turn into a festival atmosphere, with Deep Cut in Splatsville and the Squid Sisters in Inkopolis Plaza pumping up the crowd with live performances. Furthermore, if you meet certain conditions within Side Order, you will be able to visit Inkopolis Square, and live performances will of course be held there during the Splatfest! Off the Hook, returning from their world tour, has revealed the songs they will perform during the Splatfest!
A Two-Pronged Approach with a Rearrangement and a New Song!

We're So Back
"We're So Back," Off the Hook's signature opener from their recent world tour, is taking over the Splatsville airwaves. "No one can belt it like Marina, huh?" sighed Pearl. "You better sing along with the 'Oh yeahs'!" pic.twitter.com/LTvQe3KmU5

The songs that Off the Hook will perform in Inkopolis Square during the Splatfest have been revealed! The first song, Color Pulse '24, which appears during the first half of the Splatfest, is a rearranged version of Color Pulse performed during Splatfests in the previous title, Splatoon 2. After their world tour, the sound and vocals give the impression of being further polished. On the official X account (@SplatoonJP), Marina commented, "Singing that intro always reminds me of seven years ago when we first took the stage with the legendary Squid Sisters. Feels like it was yesterday!" For those of you who also played Splatoon 2, those feelings from back then probably came flashing back instantly, didn't they?
And the highlight is surely the second song, the long-awaited new track from Off the Hook, We're So Back! Pearl says this song was a staple opening number during their world tour, stating, "No one can belt it like Marina, huh?" and "You better sing along with the 'Oh yeahs'!" From the sing-along and the title itself, it seems like the excitement will be as if to say Off the Hook are the Splatfest headliners. Since We're So Back appears in the second half of the Splatfest, it will surely accelerate the final stretch when Tricolor Turf Wars are unlocked!
However! As mentioned before, in order to go to Inkopolis Square, you must meet certain conditions within Side Order! Side Order is included in the paid additional content Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass, so if you haven't purchased it yet, make sure to buy it and meet the conditions in Side Order before the Splatfest!
