You can learn directly from famous company representatives!

You can attend lectures from companies you're interested in, held in the classrooms of Kyushu Sangyo University.
The slots show the company name, the speaker, and the difficulty level of the lecture from beginner to advanced, allowing attendees to tailor their experience.
It's great that you can customize it, whether you're thinking, "I'm interested but worried I won't keep up," or "I want to learn more technical stuff!"
Some people were actually taking notes, making it feel just like a university class!
It really made me realize how important it is to learn for your future, or for a new perspective.
You can try out games at the Indie Game Area!

At "CEDEC+KYUSHU 2024," there was an "Indie Game Area" where you could experience many indie games from various companies!
This booth was very lively, featuring works that could be enjoyed by beginners and advanced players alike, as well as games where you could experience beautiful visuals. I think it was a great booth that truly showed the development of indie games.

There was a wide variety of games, from VTuber games to nostalgic pixel art games.
Reika was captivated by the cuteness of the doll and challenged "Rope-kun Adventure"!

Reika was delighted by the gap between the character and the system, where you strangle enemies with a rope!

Reika said, "It's cute, but what it does is outrageous!!!"

Game clear!
The controls were more difficult than I expected, and I struggled, but the happy Rope-kun was just too cute.
"Rope-kun Adventure" is scheduled to be released in 2025.
Be sure to check it out!
In this booth, you could also experience unreleased games using ZOTAC's gaming PC "ZONE"!
This event is definitely a must-attend for indie game lovers.

Interesting Books for Sale!

A wide range of books, from game strategy guides and reference materials to business books, were available, mainly focusing on the game industry.
The business books were also categorized by field, which is helpful for people who don't know where to start reading.
Let's go to the next "CEDEC+KYUSHU"!

Events where you can meet and talk to company representatives are rare, and I got the impression that there were many students!
For those who are interested but anxious, the booths are filled with many creative ideas like pamphlets and gashapon machines to attract interest, so anyone can feel at ease attending.
At the indie game corner, you could try out even unreleased games, and in the lectures, companies explained what they do in an easy-to-understand way. There were so many experiences you could only get there!
How about using this as a starting point for job hunting or production inspiration?
